Sugar cane to the ocean with Ni'ihau and Lehua islands in the distance. This is my favorite place to be on this island of Kaua'i. The westside in Mana/Polihale. The sun is most intense. You can dry your fish in hours.

A morning walk along the shore to welcome a new day. Then venture up into the dunes and sit, maybe for hours, til the sun is so hot the birds won't fly.

The beach at the end of the path is actual sand and shell from Polihale.

Enjoy a walk down this path for many years.
