Monarch butterfly button - Original design fabric

Description

I took my original photograph of a monarch butterfly and made it into a mandala design, with the focus being the orange and black stripes of the monarch's wing. I printed my design on EQ Printables premium cotton lawn pre-treated inkjet fabric, using light-fast Epson ultrachrome pigment inks. I covered Dritz metal buttons with the fabric, using vellum tape to ensure that the button is securely covered. You can wash or dry-clean the buttons. The buttons are 1.25 inches (3 cm) at the widest point.

This item is for a set of four buttons. If you would like a different number of the same button (either fewer or more), please send me a convo and I will gladly fill your order. The price for my buttons of this size is $4 for one. If you buy four the price is $15 for the set.

As a side note, my husband and I plant milkweed to attract monarch butterflies to our garden. When we are lucky enough to find an egg or caterpillar feeding on the milkweed, we bring it into our butterfly habitat to nurture and protect it. We feed it and give it shelter until it emerges as a butterfly, and then we release it. I took this photograph of one of the monarchs that we raised.
