Appetizer Plate

Description

This little plate is perfect for serving appetizers. It's a great size for a little treat for one's self. Use it as a coaster for a bottle of wine to catch drips. Also makes a great spoon rest near the stove. Stand a pillar candle on if for a centerpiece. Really, quite a versatile piece!

Plate: 6" x 6" (15cm x 15cm)

Microwave and Dishwasher safe.

All of the decoration is drawn on the clay by hand using a liquid clay called slip, and a slip-trailer. This drawing is done on the piece after it has dried, allowing the slip to crackle. This gives each piece an antique/heirloom feel. The slip is fired onto the piece and completely sealed by the glaze.
