Limited edition the WOW dress size 4

There is so much on ETSY that looks alike, and I wanted to do something different. This little Sandi Henderson pattern was a lot of trouble, but the end result is more than worth it (although I wasn't too sure of that when I sewed most of the 9 yard bottom ruffle with no thread in my bobbin)! Each piece was hand cut, then pieced, zigzagged and topstitched, which adds strength as well as making the seams lie flat. I hope you love the result as much as I do!

The back has elastic for a perfect fit and the back ties adjust, giving her more than one year's wear. Also, the length hits just below the calf, so she won't outgrow it for a while!

I have been collecting brown and dusty pink fabrics for more than a year, and this dress features 8 different prints. I started with a vintage piece from my Mom's stash and my next addition was from designer Suling Wang, but what really made it come together was the pink and brown collection from Robert Kaufman. This listing is for the dress and the pink striped blouse, but the dress without the blouse is a beautiful sundress for those hot days.
