Etsy Project Embrace. Custom Happy Heart

If anyone has a happy heart then its my etsy friend Laura Slocum (www.lauraslocumpainted.etsy.com and www.creativelytangled.etsy.com). I've recently learned that Laura is being treated for stage 3 Ovarian cancer. A group has been set up here at etsy to help raise funds for the American Cancer Society as way of supporting Laura through this tough time. Its called Etsy Project Embrace and 70% of this listing will go to the American Cancer Society in honour of Laura's continued fight against cancer.

Happy hearts are one of a kind art treasures. They are individually collaged, using a selection of found papers, tissue and lashings of colourful paint, ink and love. Each heart is stitched together, imperfect as it is, to remind us that nobody's heart is perfect.
