Oh how I love corespinning!! This yarn is as light as a cloud!! I carded up super soft cotswold lamb dyed in soft shades of pinks and a touch of gold, with iridescent angelina in gold and iridescent coral. I corespun the cotswold cloud lightly around a sparkly pink core. The cotswold is almost translucent in places and you can lightly see the core thru.

Corespinning is a more intensive spinning technique that wraps the fiber around a core, between a 60 and 90 degree angle. It creates a thick and thin single, that looks quite different than a traditional single. It produces a very warm, light and fluffy yarn that is very strong. It does however, take longer to spin and results in the higher cost..

Recommended needles: 13 or higher
Recommended hook: M or higher
