I plied the squishy soft black merino wool single with a yarn made of a black thread and bobbles of grass green, hot pink, and bright cobalt blue. I wouldn't hesitate to put this next to my skin or a baby's skin.

thick/thin, fingering to bulky
I would suggest no less than US9 needles for knitting due to the thicker portions.
Hand wash cool, dry flat. This yarn WILL felt. It can be wound into a center-pull ball upon request.
