Custom Heart Sampler

Description

Instead of carving your names into a tree let me embroider it for you! You’ll have a sweet remembrance and a thoughtful gift for yourself or a loved one. This example is of a gift I made for my grandparents—they’ve been married for sixty years! Your personalized sampler will look very similar, but will vary with name lengths. The backing fabric will also vary with availability.

Pictured here is a 4” hoop. Depending on the length of your names I may need to upgrade you to a 5” hoop. How about just the initials of your names? Please convo me before your hand if your names are more than 6 letters so we can discuss a larger hoop.

+ my own pattern
+ hand stained embroidery hoop
+ 4 3/8 or (5 3/8 inches in diameter, if needed)
+ embroidered on an unbleached muslin
+ archival glue used to adhere linen to hoop
+ embroidery floss in brown, brick red and blue*
+ reverse is covered with a cotton fabric, which will vary from what is pictured according to availability

* this option is customizable as well, choose from brick red pictured and a classic red with teal shown in the last picture.
