Bea Carrick - a bookmark

Bea Carrick is a bookmark so unique and delightful - she is in fact, a "bookGoddess". Click quick and she is yours and will bestow an unlimited amount of benevolence upon all your reading hours. She will also keep your place while you're away from your book.

She is entirely hand made and is a unique piece of art never to be made again. I molded her face from playdoh and then painted it to resemble aged copper. Her black, kinky hair is a bit of unraveled wool and her hat is a bit of black and white fabric embellished with accents of gold and and white paint. Her dress is from a book, with a skirt to match her hat, embellished with a bit of shear black and white polka dot. Wheels instead of feet are evidence that she is ready and willing to roll with you, whatever your reading material. She is not a snob. Neither is she super delicate. While some people frame their bookGoddess... I would just like to take this opportunity to point out that she is a bookmark and can be used as a bookmark provided you do not close the book on her face which is durable given it isn't abused (it is just playdoh after all!).

9.25" tall by 2.5" wide (234mm X 65mm) on heavy card stock, all elements applied with acrylic gel medium so she will hold together no matter how turbulent your action novel, no matter how steamy the romance, no matter how bone-achingly dull the textbook... she will endure! And she will help you to endure too. She's like that.
