Ornaments, fabric Mexican Sacred Heart

Description

Set of three, soft fabric ornaments. The Mexican hearts are made from cotton fabric printed to look like the traditional hand-punched, painted tin corazon milagros crafted by Mexican artisans. These are the perfect gift not only for Frida fans, but also for anyone who loves popular Mexican folk art and cultural icons like Day of the Dead, the Sacred Heart, loteria cards and the Virgin of Guadalupe.

One bright red heart is pierced by an arrow and surrounded by baroque gold scrollwork, another is a Sacred Heart entwined in thorns and crowned with a flame, and the third is surrounded by tropical flowers and birds. All of the heart designs are on a jet black background.

All ornaments are backed with solid bright red cotton.

Each measures about 3 1/2" x 2" (9 X 5 cm) and is less than 1" deep (but you can fluff out the filling or compress it to suit yourself). The attached red ric-rac loop and adds 2" to the height.

The ornaments are filled with fluffy, eco-friendly ingeo fiberfill so that they are super-light, making them perfect to use in so many ways:
