Kite Flying in the Snow - large box canvas original painting - 12x16 inches

This painting shows a lone adventurer flying a kite in the snow. It's based on a real scene I witnessed this week in the snow in the UK.

I have been painting while I have been signed off from work, and I find it really therapeutic. I usually paint from a photograph, often one I've taken, or if it's something more exotic I work off a few different photographs. I work quickly in acrylic on canvas boards or box canvases, using solid colours, interference colours, or a mixture of the two.

The photos are the best I can take unfortunately. I've tried my best to show them in their true colours.
