The enameled shape is about 1''.

This ring features a copper enameled shape formed with a Bonny Doon hydraulic press and a custom cut die. There are several different layers of enamel on the domed shape... As an experiment I added sterling silver dust to the final layer of enamel. The enamel layers were all torch fired.

The enameled piece is set securely in a hand formed fine silver bezel.

The whole piece has been oxidized with liver of sulfur. The back and ring band have been left dark. The front has been lightly sanded to bring out the distressed textures of the piece.

The enamels used are high quality Thompson Enamels which are lead free.
