Winter Night Quilted Wall Hanging

Description

I'm reminded of a cold winter night when I look at this small art quilt. The purples, blues and grays give off a feeling of darkness and sadness, but hope flows from the lighter colors at the top.

It measures about 19" (48.3cm) square, and has been machine quilted with a variegated Sulky thread. The binding has been hand sewn to the back for a professional finish, and I have attached a "signed" block on the back.

Also attached to the back is a rod pocket so that it will hang flat. If you would rather use it as a table topper, you can either remove the pocket easily, or just leave it on.

The fabric is 100% cotton, and hand-dyed. The manufacturer of the fabric is Cherrywood Fabrics, Inc., and their hand-dyed cottons have an exclusive suede look.

This art quilt can be machine washed on cold if necessary, and has been preshrunk.
