Race Car no.1 collage on wood

Description

“Big Mike” Dundy drives the #1 car, sponsored by the Ace Company. The winner of eleven races since his rookie year in 2004, he’s finished second in the cup series twice. He is nicknamed “Big Mike” despite being only five feet two inches tall.

This is an original mixed-media collage on half-inch birch plywood, app. 10 inches square. Made up mostly of magazines and patterned paper, the collage is finished in a gloss varnish. This collage is "framed" with thin black basswood. This is the first of the Race Car Series. Others shall be added soon.

The art will be safely packed and shipped.
