This sweet yet sophisticated quilt would make a perfect gift for a new baby or a wonderful wall hanging in any room. Quilt is approximately 36" x 40"

This quilt features machine pieced field of cream cotton and rose-printed fabric with a spectacular hand appliqued flower pattern. I have machine quilted the piece with a meander pattern in the main field, accent quilting on the applique and a winding vine pattern on the cream boarder. The binding and accent boarder are in a coordinating plaid. Binding is double fold, hand finished on the back with mitred corners. The backing is the rose print from which the front is pieced. Backstory on the two main prints...I bought these on a sailing vacation in St. Barts as a comforter cover which was much loved but seldom used. I like this incarnation much better!

Machine is pre-washed 100% cotton with cotton batting. The quilt can be machine washed and dried (gentle/delicate recommended).
