The details: The quote by William James is so poetic and beautiful, "Our lives are like islands in the sea, or like trees in the forest, which co-mingle their roots in the darkness underground."
Mixed media original collage on an 8" x 8" piece of wood. The sides of the wood have been painted brown. Collage arrives ready to hang.
The collage includes my original photograph "Sorrell," along with acrylic paint and paper.
