MEASUREMENTS:Flower itself is 3.25 inches= 9 cm long, with leaves 5.25 inches= 14 cm
DETAILS: 3.25 inches =9 cm long silver colored French barrette (made in france). Gold plated bead cap, pearl, felt (flower is glued to that)
COLOR: Light pink and peach, green
MATERIALS: habotai silk dyed by gochemoche
TEXTURE:Silk- very smooth
DESIGNER: gochemoche, following traditional designs

The cherry blossom kanzashi are made of silk flowers. I used authentic Japanese silk fabric that is used to make kimono.
Beautiful fabrics with gorgeous bright colors have always been one of greatest my passion. When I came across "Tsumami Kanzashi" online I knew it was fate. This technique is used to make exquisite hair "jewelry" for the apprentice geisha, maiko. It took me a while to gather all traditional material to start working on the projects on my mind. Here they are, I hope you enjoy and love them as much as I do.
