amber is all time favourite of mine...so beautiful and warm and a pleasure to work with. these genuine baltic amber beads took me soooo long to find....but they were definately worth the hunting! the warm dark honey tones have the beautiful little flecks inside, with this design carried through into the golden rutilated quartz rondelles that i have also strung onto the bracelet. to add a bit of contrast sterling silver beads have been threaded between the semi precious beads, and the bracelet is finished with a stunning karen hill tribe silver clasp (.999 silver).

the finishing touch on this bracelet is the sweet little apple charm, a solid nugget of sterling silver which has been very delicately carved. this bracelet is also available with a sterling silver acorn charm. alternatively you can purchase the bracelet at a reduced price without the charm, please contact me for more information.

the bracelet measures approximately 19.8cm (7.8 inches) and the rose clasp measures around 2cm (3/4 of an inch) across.

p.s. i test all my batches of amber to ensure that they are genuine amber. to do this, i burn the edges of the amber (please be reassured that i have not used the test bead in this design!) and received a lovely pine incense smell rather than a horrible plastic smell. this technique is used as an indicator that the bead is actually amber rather than plactic/lucite/bakelite. please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
