A Spring Meadow

Imagine sitting by a quietly running stream, clean fresh spring winds blowing through the boughs and buds on the trees around you, white cotton candy clouds drift by. You look up and near by is just the most amazing field of flowers, beautiful yellows, blues, pinks, with their heads nodding as in appreciation for the visit you are paying them.

I made this with 1 inch crocheted appliques and an 18 inch organza ribbon necklace all looped together with small metal rings.
The crocheted piece hangs 5 inches from the neck as this will fit like a choker. This in my opinion is a beautifully dramatic piece that could be worn to weddings, nights out, or just around town...very elegant and so wonderfully victorian.
