Lady Imogen 8 x 10 Print
Description
Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?Thou art more lovely and more temperate.
Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,
And summer's lease hath all too short a date.
Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines,
And often is his gold complexion dimmed;
And every fair from fair sometime declines,
By chance, or nature's changing course untrimmed.
But thy eternal summer shall not fade
Nor lose possession of that fair thou ow'st;
Nor shall death brag thou wand'rest in his shade,
When in eternal lines to time thou grow'st,
So long as men can breathe or eyes can see,
So long lives this, and this gives life to thee.
- William Shakespeare, Sonnet 18
Lady Imogen is, at least through the eyes of her adoring beau, Captain Frederick Frog, more lovely than a summer's day. I have to agree with Captain Frederick. She is very beautiful!
This listing is for Lady Imogen only. The 5th picture gives an idea of how she looks matted and framed on a wall, along with Captain Frederick, her froggy beau. You can find the set of two frogs in the Print Sets section of my shop.
This print is of a watercolor illustration. It has been printed onto a lovely gloss paper and the colors are rich and vibrant. All prints come tucked inside a cello sleeve and have a thin white border for matting and have been signed by me, the artist.
Enjoy!
