An 'English Coast' painting from the spring series along the Thames Estuary - from Margate to Sittingbourne. This painting is of a myseterious little place called Plumpudding that seems to exist on the Sustrans (cycling organisation) cycle route maps but on no other maps! Strange... but a pretty little place where channels of water fill the low-lying area beside the sea. Much of this stretch of coast westward from Margate is given over to nature sanctuaries for birds and wildlife.

I studied painting and printmaking privately with Greenwich artist Annette Johnson. This was supplemented with classes at London's City Lit, Morley College, and Blackheath Conservatoire of Music and the Arts. I'm a fulltime artist working from my studio in southeast London.

My work has been exhibited throughout England and is in private collections both here and in the USA, Europe, Australia, Japan and Ireland. As well as various galleries I've had the pleasure of being included in shows at the Dulwich Picture Gallery, the National Maritime Museum, the Mall Galleries with both the Pastel Society and the Royal Society of Marine Artists, and the annual Cork Street Exhibition for Charity (at The Gallery on Cork Street).
