Walnut Whatever Bowl

Description

Use it at your whim or purpose. Lathe turned and then hand carved from a solid block, this vessel could be a stunning place to store treasures on your bookshelf or dresser or plop a votive on it for a little light on the situation. It is also large enough to house a 3" pillar candle (for a little more light).

4 1/4 inches in diameter and standing 3 1/8 inches tall, the bowl opening is 3 1/8 inches diameter and 1 inch deep.

Finished with drug store grade mineral oil ( used as a lubricant for those that are stool challenged) and natural beeswax. Several coats of each were used and lovingly rubbed into the wood before polishing with a clean soft rag. The feel is soft and buttery. Don't be afraid to pick it up and rub it. It feels good and your natural body oils will help preserve it and make it your own. Easily cleaned with a soft damp rag and should be re-oiled. Baby oil will work fine if you don't mind the fragrances added.
