This is a limited edition piece, a one of a kind and will not be reproduced. This is a mixed media assemblage created on an antique book, called History and Poems, by Shakespeare. This book is marked in some places by the owner, and is very interesting to look at. The book is able to be opened and looked at. The book is 7 by 4 1/2 by 1 inches. I added some vintage wall paper from 1940, and then layered some vintage goodies on top of that. A lace doily, a grouping of bone china buttons, and some old jewelry pieces grouped together. The focal point is the fantastic tin type photograph from the early 1900’s. It features a lovely woman who wears a rosary around her neck, a very unique piece of history.
