Study in Topo No. 2 - original papercut

Description

This is something I've been meaning to try for a long time: a many layered topographic work and it's reverse made up of the pieces I cut out.

Included in this listing are two pieces. The first is an original papercut in a topographic style made of sixteen (!) layers of acid-free cardstock in two shades of deep olive-green. The second half of the piece is a paper sculpture created by layering all the pieces cut from the first work.

The bigger piece measures 6 inches (15 cm) square, and is just over 1/8th of an inch (.5 cm) thick. Both pieces would look great mounted in a shadowbox frame together.
