All of my shark ties are made from beautiful colors of silk shantung. Shantung is very similar to dupioni (used for some of my other ties) but it has a smoother, sleeker surface quality with a more refined and less raw look and hardly any slubbiness. The smooth surface allows for the printing of more finely detailed designs.

This tie is made completely from scratch, by me. (It is NOT purchased pre-sewn and then printed). It is screen printed with an awesome great white shark design, which I drew by hand. The image is printed using an acrylic permanent textile ink and the print has been heat-set.

58 inches long from end to end
4 inches wide at bottom front
1.5 inches wide at opposite end

I am happy to accommodate custom color requests and can purchase just about any color of silk you can imagine locally. Custom colors DO NOT cost extra.
