Description

The Chinese have, for many centuries, scented their teas with various floral essences, but jasmine green tea has always prevailed as the longstanding favorite. This delicious tea is infused with the sweet aroma and flavor of fresh night-blooming jasmine flowers. The tea leaves are then hand-rolled into balls, which uncurl before your eyes as your tea steeps.

Contains Chinese green tea scented with jasmine flowers.

You will receive 4 oz of loose leaf tea in a brown resealable, glassine lined paper bag. Our bags are completely recyclable and biodegradable.

Use 8-10 pearls per 8 oz cup. Heat the water to steaming - approximately 180° fahrenheit, and steep for 3-5 minutes (longer for a more full bodied flavor). Do not use boiling water, as this will scald the tea making your infusion slightly bitter.

4 oz yields approximately 80-100 cups.

Since this is a rare and very high quality tea, the price is higher than on most of our other teas. If you would like a smaller quantity, we also offer this tea in 1 and 2 ounce packages, for $7 and $12, respectively. Contact us if you would like to purchase a smaller quantity.
