This lovely cuff is destined to turn heads!
Many hours of labor went into the making of this piece; each minute dedicated to create a one of a kind accessory!
The base for this work is blue soft felt (two layers) and the embellishments used range from little seed beads to big wooden beads.
The design is my own; several shades of blue felt create a splashy motive; as if water is splashing up after a mermaid dived into the ocean (hence the name of this piece).
Each little bead, each piece of hand cut felt, each stitch, was hand sewn on!
The cuff is very soft to wear and can be positioned the way you like it; personally I think it looks best when overlapping the back of the hand-almost up to your knuckles.
Measurements are 21x10cm (8.26"x3.93") without the lace border. With the border it is 15cm (5.90").
The lace is white with a lovely floral pattern.
The cuff closes with two metal press closures.
