Stoneware with Purple Glass Inlay Drop Spindle, 1oz
Description
This pottery whorl was handmade by an artisan stoneware maker right here on etsy; the purple and clear glass is fused to the top during firing, which gives it that lovely crackle appearance, while maintaining a smooth surface. The shaft is a smooth, tapered rosewood, which I capped with a hand bent nickel silver hook. This spindle is slightly rim-weighted, thanks to the raised lip on the outside of the whorl.Diameter: 2.25"
