Fairy and Dragonfly Wall Panel
Description
This mosaic wall panel was created for the PieceMakers Mosaic and Mixed-Media Artists "Winged Creature" challenge. It measures 11 inches wide x 11.5" tall. The base is 1/2" wedi board, which is light weight, yet durable. I used stained glass and beads in this piece. The fairy's wings are purple grape mirror water-glass, the dragonfly's wings are iridescent white stained glass, and it is trimmed with rose colored mirrored water-glass. The grout is dark gray.
