MISSISSIPPI original 1912 music Starmer illustration with happy dancers welcoming the River Boat
Description
"On the Mississippi" was published in 1912, and is indicative of popular tunes about the South at the turn of the last century, particularly those that were introduced to vaudeville audiences. The beautiful cover illustration by Starmer begs to be framed.A grease stain started at the back and almost worked its way to the cover, but stopped in time. For its age or any other, the condition is excellent.
Measures about 11" x 14"-- from the time before sheet music was uniformly printed smaller to save paper, around WWI. I pack very carefully and do not charge extra shipping for multiples.
