Dead Nest mini painting
Description
This painting measures 4 x6 inches on gessoed masonite. It is painted with acrylic and gouache and coated with a glassy varnish for protection. It is part of a 3 painting series. Parts of the pencil sketch can be seen through the paint, adding to it's rustic theme.I love the idea of animals having ghosts, but this painting is also supposed to reflect my concern for the environment. When we destroy habitat we are also destroying the lives of the animals living there.
