If your family is anything like mine, you probably have a box of mismatched gloves and mittens who have long ago lost their mates, stored away on the top shelf of a closet.

I finally solved the problem by creating an all in one scarf and fingerless mitten set. Gone are the days of losing a single glove to an unzipped pocket or the mysterious black hole lurking in the depths of your clothes dryer!

I intentionally knit the finger area opening a little snug, both to keep out the cold air, and because knit fabric has a tendency to stretch over time.
