Great, seldom-seen Marimekko print. The colour is great, a sort of deep teal or blue-turquoise, with black and white, and the pattern is interesting - like cells, but cells that contain fine baroque patterns. Beautiful effect, sort of minimal and modern and baroque at the same time, so it would be a great bridging item. The cotton is the classic, tough, high-quality cotton that Marimekko always uses. Excellent dyes. Pillowcase is slightly under 20" x 20" (we make our pillowcases slightly smaller to get a well-stuffed pillow with a standard 20" sq. insert).

We can do sustainable bamboo filling in all our pillows for an upcharge of $20. We do not use bamboo as our regular fill, however, because we feel it's still too hard and lumpy. Sustainable fillings are definitely still in the experimental stage. We are also experimenting with kapok and natural latex fills but so far none of them perform remotely like feather. We avoid foam because of its environmental dubiousness, but we'll happily provide it for allergy reasons - just ask us.

SHIPPING NOTE: We can ship flat without the form insert inside; shipping is then $4.00. Convo us if you'd like to do it this way. 20" x 20" is a standard size for feather or foam forms for decorative throw pillows, but a poorly made form will alter the look of your pillow significantly.
