Teal Rose Beaded Bobbin Lace Earrings--Sneak Attack Support Item

Description

Why not dangle a little hand-made lace from your ears? Worked in a deep, vibrant teal blue silk, these bobbin lace earrings are carefully twisted from 32 threads apiece in an intricate design incorporating traditional Torchon elements: half-stitch fans and rose ground (my favorite Torchon lace ground). Clear glass beads are worked into the center of each rose ground figure. The beads are a part of the lace, not sewn in later. Silver-colored thread outlines the earrings, and each ends in a decorative tassel. Suitable for casual or dressy wear, the lace is strengthened with applications of Fray Check and starch. Findings and hooks are sterling silver.
