Anyway you look at it, this compendium of sweater patterns is a classic. Really, if you wish to knit a man's sweater, the pattern is probably waiting here for you, weather you wish for a cable knit turtle neck, or an argyle cardigan. There are 30 patterns, with a multitude of variables. But also, this book is quite valuable for it's period photos of male models. The stiff poses,improbable motivations, and young republican good looks are completely suitable for framing.
This nicely sized 8.5" X 12" magazine has 56 pages, and all photos are in living color. There is some wear on the front cover, with the edges scuffed and the corners slightly curled. Inside, there is some smudging, and one page which has no photos and just pattern looks more used than the others, with dog ears and written notes.
