Temptation Burlesque Collar

Description

Wrap the Temptation Burlesque Collar about your neck. Tie the luscious burnt orange velvet ribbon in a sumptuous bow at your lovely nape. You are an exotic chanteuse, an earthy diva, a whimsical burlesque / bordello queen - unique, dramatic, sultry and beautiful!
Featured is a magnificent 10 3/4" inch stretch of peyote stitch snake-skin at 1 3/4" wide. I employed thousands of tiny glass delica beads in a palette of hues meant to evoke the scales of the magnificent boa constrictor; firey orange and copper, deep luscious browns, lustrous cream, flashy bronze and gold.
The "snake-skin" is temptingly adorned with delicate vintage Venetian lace in creamy, dreamy white, a true fantasy sweetly embellished (by lil ol me) with lustrous freshwater pearls: the teeniest little seed pearls and petite petal pearls in layers of bronze and dusty rose, meticulously secured by means of gorgeous handmade rosy copper head pins (big thanks to MilenaS). The lovely flowers and tendrils host a quartet of sun-warmed carnelian teardrops, fantastically faceted and lovingly copper wire wrapped, while lovely sparks of orange and olive faceted sapphire rondells catch and play with the light and admiring glances.
Swags of dear itty bitty seed pearls and copper chain sway out from the center accenting the snake and your throat with shimmering sunstone and smoldering smoky quartz teardrops in their midst.
Inspired by one of the oldest stories, the Temptation Burlesque Collar is a visual representation of the snake in the garden.
