All of my cut coin jewelry was hand cut by myself from genuine US coins, world coins, tokens or medallions using non-electric hand tools. Though most have never heard of or seen a cut coin, it has been around for centuries but is best known in America as being a tramp or hobo art. It was practiced mostly by the crafty homeless traveler due to the minimal tools needed to create a means of survival at a time when there was no labor to be found. It is a skill that is generally passed on from one traveler to another. I learned the craft from a transient that was passing through my town when I was a teenager. I have now been cutting for almost fifteen years.

Over the years many American coin cutters have found their way to ebay. This means quite a large selection of cut coin jewelry has become available over the years. The problem is that the quality of this large selecion varies from poorly cut junk all the way to fine, quality jewelry. It is very important for a potential buyer of this jewelry to carefully study the photos of each piece from each seller and to not simply buy the least expensive piece that can be found and to make sure that the piece photographed is the actually product they will recieve (not a stock photo). I do my best to take the highest resolution photos possible and I guarantee that the item in the picture is the exact item you will recieve. I believe that my work is some of the very best available on the internet. For over four years now I have had only happy customers and never a single complaint. From all I have seen, I honestly believe that I have next to the most diverse and ever changing selection of cut coins from all over the world that can be found on the net. Many of my pieces are coins that I have cut only one of. True one-of-a-kind items.

Pricing is dictated by how much I pay for the coin, difficulty level, time spent cutting and rarity. As far as I know, I charge less than just about any coin cutter currently cutting today. I also consider haggling and bartering.


The descriptions of my products will (when possible) include a photograph of exact item, year of date on coin, country of origin, size, color, and make-up (i.e. silver, bronze, copper, etc...)

I cut coins with every kind of animal including bears, monkeys, horses, lions, owls, eagles, buffalo, angel fish, octopus, starfish, seahorse, shark, rhinosaurus, beaver, snakes, lizards, etc... I often have mythological animals as well, including unicorns, Pegasus, two-headed eagles and dragons. Common countries for me to cut include US, Russia, Greece, France, Cuba, Canada, Jamaica, Australia, Great Britain, Ireland, Spain, Mexico, Argentina, Peru, Brazil, Egypt, Israel, Morocco, Japan, China, Thailand, Colombia, etc...
