"Intrepid Evolution" Dragonfly- flight, change, rapid growth.... travels to a new land. Finding yourself in a foreign language.

A series of paintings inspired by the PostSecret website. As a local experiment, I distributed and received back postcards containing the anonymous secrets of strangers. Each painting is based around a secret- the colors and animals were chosen to illustrate the emotions and symbolism I associated with each personal message. The secret itself- and sometimes even the original postcard is embedded in layers of paint along with torn pages of old books, small drawings and stories of strangers.

The secret in this one: "Traveling has opened a whole new world for me!"

PRINT DETAILS:

This is a print on 8.5" x 11" Epson velvet fine art paper. 100% cotton rag, buffered and acid free, offering a unique museum quality feel. The paper and inks are archival quality. Print is un-matted with a small white border and signed. Ready for custom framing!

It will ship in a protective plastic sleeve between cardboard braces.
