Blue Eyes Etching by Emma Kidd

Description

This is a one off etching created using the chine collé method (meaning you print onto a piece of rice paper rolled through on top of the etching paper. You then glue the rice paper to the paper). I created this unique state in 1996. I recently rediscovered it amongst my other etchings. I remember I hand dyed the rice paper and the ink used for the eyes is a deep burgundy.

This is the only print of this image.

Printed on Fabriano Etching Paper (3030).
