Thunder Horse at Sunset is a 5 x 7 Glossy Print of a Photograph taken by Charles Morrison in April of 2005.

The photo was taken when the Thunder Horse platform was being towed to its location in the Gulf of Mexico. At the time, Thunder Horse was the largest floating platform in the world. The platform only had auxiliary power so there are very few lights and all the cranes are down giving it a rather lonely feel.

The ship that I was on, Toisa Perseus, was leaving the location at the time and did a complete circle around the platform just as the sun was setting between the legs of the platform. The colours of the water and the horizon were just brilliant!

This print is signed and dated on the back and will be enclosed in a plastic sleeve for protection.

All colours are depicted as best as my monitor will allow. We have a non smoking home, but we do have dogs. The dogs did not help print this photo so there will be no puppy signatures on the back!
