I have used a mock cable stitch and a close and dense weave.
This cap is more a form fitted hat without the slouchy extra room.
The visor has not been enforced with an insert, it is semi soft and allows reshaping.
Made to fit most teen and adult sizes, but probably best suited for smaller to medium head sizes.
