Bridal Original Wedding Dress Gown Vintage Circa 1950s 60s Seed Pearls Beautiful Lace

Gorgeous vintage "Bridal Original" wedding dress. This bridal gown is circa late 1950's to very early 1960's. It has a fitted waist, accented with a satin ribbon that has faux seed pearls in the center of the front bow, extends to the back with a another bow with long streamers. The bodice has an under layer that is sleeveless with a rounded neckline and is completely covered with lace. The lace neckline is high with more faux seed pearls and another bow and ribbon. The sleeves are all lace, long with a lace ruffle at the wrists and closes with tiny metal snaps.

The skirt is layered fabric (the under layer the same fabric as the under layer on the bodice) with 3 rows of wide lace trim, accented with pearly sequins. It has sewn in crinolines for fullness. The train is just slight, about 12" longer than the front. It zips up the back with a nylon zipper. I believe the original color to be ivory. There is no size given.

It does have some damage. There is a tear in the lace around the bottom (see photo). There is a hole, about 1" in diameter on one shoulder. I am certain this is from the hanger it was on. It has discolored with age, with it being darker in some areas. This gown would be so worth restoring. I would be happy to provide more photos upon request. The dry cleaner hanger it was on has the state given as S.C. and they began using SC in 1963, so I am positive this gown is pre 1963. And I have little doubt the hanger is the original hanger it was placed on after being cleaned.

Bust 32" - Waist 24" - Hips fairly free (skirt is very full) - Length in front (neck to center front) 60" - Length in back (neck to center back) 72".

Measurements are taken flat and doubled so will be approximate. They are given at the maximum, both un-stretched and stretched (when able, but be sure to allow some room for movement and comfort.)

I gently launder and air dry all used lingerie before listing. New old stock items that have retained their tags, are not laundered, and may have been stored for long periods of time, so may have a musty scent. If you are sensitive to odors or they offend you, please refrain from purchasing these items. Please do not expect your vintage item to look like new. Unless it is stated as new, it isn't. Even New Old Stock items may have signs of age, as most have been stored for long periods of time and may have been handled frequently. I do my best to give very accurate descriptions, however I am human and may overlook something minor on occasion.

Orders that have not received payment by the 4th day, will be canceled and re-listed. Insurance can always be added on and it is your option. The cost is $1.70 for up to $50.00. Delivery confirmation is included at no additional cost. I combine shipping on all lingerie at $1.00 per additional item.
