Shannan Sinclair, 40, was born and raised in the Central Valley, California. After 18 years of running barefoot through pastures, throwing dirt clods at crop dusters, and hanging out in peach orchards and on canal banks, she joined the Air Force and lived in such exotic places as Texas and Japan. She began a career as a mother while getting her Bachelor of Arts degree in Advertising and Graphic Design at San Diego's Art Institute. She gave up life in the fast lane of advertising to move back to her hometown, raise her children, and work in a profession that doesn't bleed her creativity dry for its own selfish gain.
