Abstract Yucca shawl

Description

I painted this shawl with an abstract composition inspired in yuccas. I used the batik technique which consists of reserving areas with wax and then adding colour. It’s white, magenta and dark purple, with a gorgeous crinkle effect on the background.

It’s steam fixed, so colours are bright and permanent maintaining all the silks softness and shine. I painted on a 45x180 cm. (18x72 inches) hand rolled ponge 5 silk scarf. This size can be worn in so many different ways!

*Wash gently in cool water and press while damp for best results.
