French Magenta, limited edition digital print

Description

French Magenta is a pattern adapted from an amazing housecoat bought at a second-hand stall in a flea market in the south of France. The actual coat is a riot of intense colours and has a thick emerald green trim. I like to wear this coat when I'm immersed in daily domestic chores and imagine that the lady who once wore it was very old and slightly batty and as wrinkly as a prune from the Provençal sunshine.

This is a limited edition print run of just ten, with only three remaining for sale.

French Magenta is digitally printed on handmade Fabriano Mediovalis, 260gsm thick soft white watercolour paper with a deckle edge.

The ink is deeply impregnated into this paper, giving it a strong, matte colour.

The print measures 150 x 200mm (6 x 8")
