Striped Sock Cat

Description

This design won first place at the 2009 State Fair of Texas Judged Creative Arts Competition in the Original Stuffed Toy category.

This soft, huggable, one-of-a-kind sock cat was lovingly sewn by hand and by machine from new knee-high socks. It is designed to lay flat with legs outstretched or can sit up on its hind legs. Craft eyes with ribbed shanks are securely held in place with lock washers. Hand embroidered mouth and eyebrows.

Colorful 7/8" (2.2cm) wide stripes are a cheerful mix of bright yellow, lime green, turquoise, and purple. Jersey fabric is a blend of acrylic and spandex. Stuffed with hypoallergenic, 100% polyester fiberfill.

Measures approximately 14" (35.6cm) long from head to toe when laying flat, excluding tail; 6" (15.2cm) tall, when sitting; 3-1/2" (8.9cm) wide at waist. Tail is about 4" (10.2cm) long.

All new materials.
