Description
This is a completely handmade pair of 12 gauge earrings made from solid sterling silver. I added artisan handmade lampwork glass beads and gave the silver a rustic, deeply oxidized finish by immersing them in an acid bath (all acid removed via careful washing with handmade soap!) for a wrought iron look.The end was hand ground and polished for smooth entry into the ear; there are no nasty sharp bits. The earrings seem really well balanced to me but I will send along body jewelry o-rings in case you want some extra security against their coming out of the ear.
Made with 100% recycled silver from a US refinery, so they're both eco friendly AND fairly traded! The lampwork was lovingly handmade in the US.

These earrings are made for those who have enlarged ear piercings; they will not fit in a normal ear piercing :D
Please note that sterling silver is not advised as a material for stretching your piercings; these earrings should be worn only in healed piercings to help avoid potential irritation.
I'm completely open to custom orders and making different gauges if the style you're after is within my ability to fabricate. I can work with sterling silver, fine (99.9% pure) silver, and yellow gold.
