John and Abigail Adams

John Adams was an American politician and the second President of the United States (1797–1801), after being the first Vice President (1789–1797) for two terms. His wife Abigail was a huge support to him as he built up his political career, being left to do much of the running of their farm and household until the very latter years of his career. He wasn't going to win hunk of the year with his looks, but evidently their relationship was a good one as he listened to a lot of her advice, as all good husbands should!

Abigail is dressed in rose colored paisley and sage green dress accented in cream lace and bows. Her colonial style hair is covered in a ruffled and pink ribboned bonnet. John is a bit portly and short, with tufts of white hair surrounding his balding pate. He is dressed in khaki breeches, cream high necked shirt, and cocoa brown jacket with cream accents and gold buttons. The couple stand about 4 and 3/4 inches tall, a perfect addtion to any collectible set!
