Custom Designed Hand-Dyed Soft Wool Wrap Soaker Diaper Cover - Teal Troll 197

Handmade crocheted soaker diaper cover made of hand-painted textured wool. This is our custom wrap design which folds up much like a disposable. One of the many benefits of this Mumtaz design is that the waist and legs expand and thus fits your baby for longer. No need to worry about skinny legs or chubby legs, these fit the whole range!

This soaker backside is fitted to form to the natural curve of baby's bottom, helping to keep in leaks (see the last thumbnail photo of similar cover in a different shade). It has a loop & tie closure system on the front flap to keep the soaker secure.

Hand-painted, textured wool is used for this diaper cover. It has a good deal of elasticity and thus covers a wider range of sizes than other wool items.

* Size: SMALL - fits most 0-6 mos depending on the type and thickness of cloth diaper.
* Color: Troll - hand-painted hues of evergreen, teal, with slight coral and pink
* Garment measures roughly 7" in rise, fits waist 12-18" (unstretched)
* Material: 100% hand-painted wool

Since wool is a natural fiber, it has inherent anti-microbial properties and can be simply aired out in between changes. Some people go 2-3 weeks in between washing. Care of soakers includes hand washing in cool water after soiling, followed by laying flat to dry. Instructions on how to care for soakers are included with each purchase.

No patterns are used at Mumtaz Creations, and all new styles created and materials used are first tried out on our own baby. For mommies new to cloth diapering, we recommend having 3-4 pairs of soakers on hand. Soakers can be lanolized free of charge before shipping, just make a note when you check out.

Hand-painted items are one-of-a-kind, and are difficult to replicate. In this case, however, we do have extra yarn of this batch and can easily make a matching hat, booties, or scarf to complete your set.
