Sterling Wrapped Seraphinite Pendant

Description

This is just an amazingly gorgeous pendant. The green stone is called seraphinite, which is from Russia. It's got streaks of deep forest and olive green, with flashes of shiny white throughout. It reflects light as the pendant moves around like my camera cannot capture. It is SO amazing in person. The front is smooth, rounded, and polished shiny, while the back is a flat matte. The stone weighs in at a full 54.10 carats. Nice and large. It's a slightly off-oval shape, and the stone itself not including the maille is 41.9 x 29.7 mm.

I've taken this exquisite stone and wrapped it in handmade sterling silver chain. This chain was woven by me, one link at a time, and the ends were connected together. While it hugs the stone perfectly, I've used a gem grade glue on the back of the pendant to ensure the seraphinite doesn't accidentally fall out. No adhesive is visible on the front. A large sterling ring is added to the top so you can add most chains.
